49 Mile Ride
Went withe my dad and his friend to San Francisco for the annual 49 Mile ride today. We left here at 7am, it was clear and crisp. All three Pans ran great all day long. There was a bunch of old iron there. My mom took her camera so I left mine at home ( check out her Obsolete Iron blog for her shots ). I did take two pictures with my phone.

Played seamstress tonight
Gave it a try...
I bought a old helmet on Ebay a while back, just what I needed another project but I got it cheep. The liner was toast and per normal I figured I can fix that. So to the fabric store I went. Spent last night working on it I like the end result.

Busy weekend...
I put around 400 miles on my truck and bike this weekend. I went up to Fort Bragg chasing parts and came back to Petaluma for some ink done by my friend Johnny and then back up to Santa Rosa to drop off the truck. I unloaded the bike and went back to Petaluma for a grand opening party; free beer, booze and chicks getting tattooed. Closed out the night by riding back to Santa Rosa at 2:30am in the fog. My luck could not have been any better, the primary belt went just as we where pulling up his driveway (at around 3:30) and he happened to have a spare in his shed. I got up early Sunday morning and changed it out so I could go on the Sonoma co. HA poker run. We decided to split off from the group and headed over to Calistoga for lunch instead.
Left the camera at home so I stole these pictures from facebook.

Full bore...
but I don't know what way to go, what a problem...
Found a set of tanks at dad's for the Knuck. I think I'm going to head toward stock this time tank shift, foot clutch, and all that. Oh and dad showed me what not to do with aluminum heads; don't leave them next to your water heater ( electrolysis is a bitch ).

Had to do it...
I finally decided to bite the bullet, winter is here or at least the first major rain is so I tore the Knuck down with my boy's help. Now it's off to dad's with it for a major overhaul (hopefully the last time I have to take her apart for a while).

A new month
and no plans for the weekend as of yet. It's all grey out. It looks like parts gathering weather and I have a lead on some bits and pieces....
